Sarah and I went for a walk up to Alexandra Palace on what was the first nice day of the year.

Ally Pally is a wonderful place because it's where the Beeb first stared a 405-line service before the war and when I was at the BBC there were still a few guys who'd worked there.

We went to our local Miso for Joe's fourteenth birthday. Then back home for a traditional birthday cake.
